PostHeaderIcon Tips on How to Stop Smoking

Smoking is very dangerous to you and your family. It can cause cancer and other sicknesses. Now, the question is: Why does a person continue on when they know it’s deadly? Answer: They are addicted to it.

So, it’s a brand new year and you want to quit smoking but can’t? Here are few tips you can start with:
1. Decide to stop smoking. It all starts in the mind.
2. Visualize all the deadly sicknesses that can harm you and your family.
3. Ask for help. Go to groups that wanted to stop smoking.
4. Ask for God’s help. Always pray for strength!
5. If you can’t quit just yet, try using an electronic cigarette or herbal alternatives.

My older brother was a chain smoker but he was able to stop. So can you!

PostHeaderIcon Water Consumption Expenses

Every other day, we buy 10 gallons of purified drinking water. That means we spend around 1,125 pesos a month for drinking water alone. If we add our water consumption for dish washing, laundry and bath, which is around 600 to 800 pesos, then we are paying about 1,500 to 2,000 pesos a month! See how much big that is!

Anyway, I am trying to cut back on drinking water expenses without salvaging my family’s health. I am planning to buy some water filter. We will directly install it in our kitchen’s piping system for easy access to human consumption or a standalone water purifier. So, I am thinking that canvassing for water filters or standalone purifiers in the next few weeks would be a great idea. So that we will be able to save on the next month’s water expenses, isn’t that sweet?!

PostHeaderIcon New Year, New Work Place Setup

Since it’s a brand new year, everybody is up for new changes not only within us but also in the realm of household or workplace organization. I for one am very eager to change the setup of my work place a.k.a. bedroom. My first goal to do this month.

NOTE: This is not my bedroom. Just for visual purpose only.

You see, I am not comfortable of its present setup especially my personal computer’s cable wires are so exposed and disorganized. I am planning to tie them all up with plastic tie wires or use the latest shrink tube to keep them one and neat looking. As for our queen-size bed, I am planning to change its orientation. The present setup of the bed makes our backs exposed to the air conditioning unit’s flow of air which making my back cold and aching. For short, I want the place conducive for work and rest.

How about you? Do you have a home or workplace related goal for this new year?
