No Contact Lenses for Me

A few days ago, I went to an ophthalmologist to have my eyes checked. Yes, you read that right, an ophthalmologist and not an optometrist. I have already consulted with the latter months ago, the reason why I wear prescription glasses now. However, even if I’m already wearing glasses I still found my eyes aching.

My eyes were always irritated, red, itchy and tearing up and it was getting harder and harder for me to work because the only way the irritation subsides is when I sleep. So I had to visit an ophthalmologist to find out what’s wrong with my eyes.

The ophthalmologist told me to avoid anything that might irritate my eyes and also to always wear my prescription glasses so my eyes will always be protected. So I guess I really have to forego my plans of wearing contact lenses because they can further aggravate my eye irritation. By the looks of it, eyeglasses are what I need and I need to stick to them.

Cupcake Towers – The Next Best Thing to Cakes

Cakes which have been part of all sorts of celebrations are starting to bow out and make way for something new and innovative – cupcakes. Yes, instead of cakes of numerous tiers, you will now find cupcake towers during wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations and birthday parties.

To tell you honestly, I think serving cupcakes fashioned and arranged like one big cake is a good idea. Have you seen a cupcake tower? Think of a gazillion cupcakes that are arranged to look like cake tiers and it’s also topped with a lovely cake topper of the celebrant’s choice. Most of the time, the cupcakes are in different flavors and pretty individual designs.

Many celebrants order these gourmet cupcakes online because it’s more convenient that way. You simply choose the flavor and design you want and the company will deliver and set up tiers upon tiers of yummy cupcakes at the venue itself. So you wouldn’t have to worry about picking them up and arranging them as such.
