A Virtual Pat on My Back

I was very busy writing an article about home lighting accessories when one of my blogger friends buzzed me at my Yahoo Messenger. She said congratulations to me because one of my posts in this blog was featured as an example favored by an advertiser. Well, I honestly, I was shocked when she said this because when I read the post, it seems that it was so simple because I only used basic grammar and words to compose it. The post I wrote didn’t contain any eloquent words or any dashing effects. It was a post written from my memories and experiences about my husband’s preferences on clothes!

So, when I checked my dashboard, there it was, I saw the link of my post. I couldn’t believe my eyes but with the thought of being technically featured as an example was already heartwarming and a virtual pat on my back. It made me realize that I need to do better and improve more! Thank you Sheriff!

Fave Christmas Gifts

My aunt from the US went to Cagayan de Oro City, our home town last November 24, 2009. She stayed there for almost a month. She brought with her many gifts for all the whole family.

As for her gift to my family, we got a lot of goodies. One of my favorites is the set of vitamins I got. As a blogger who works from 12mn till morning and a mom who breastfeeds, I think I need a lot of health supplements to cope up. Thank God for Auntie!

Anyway, I am planning to save up for next year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale in the US. I am planning to ask my aunt and best friend to buy some good deals for me. So when they come home, they can bring them thus saving from shipping expenses.

Children’s Christmas Party

Just out of the blue, I have decided to have a children’s party in our neighborhood. It’s a short of thanksgiving to God for the blessings He has poured to my family and my work online. So, this is my way of paying forward for God’s kindness to me and my family.

Children's Christmas Party

I am not planning of any extravagant party. Maybe a few games and some deliciously cooked spaghetti with drinks would be enough to bring cheer to children. I am also planning to put up cardboard displays with letters and decorations at our gate which will serve as our stage.

Anyway, we haven’t decided what time and day the party would be since these children have family agendas too but definitely it will happen before the year ends. Wish us luck!
